We operate in Port Allen, LA in a 130,000 sq. ft. facility and house more than 10k sku’s of product.

For more information about Lyons, visit [please apply online] Lyons seeks an experienced Regional Sales Manager in the Southwest Louisiana area to be a part of our leadership and sales team. As a RSM, you will be responsible for the growth and business development within assigned territories. The candidate must reside in Lafayette or Lake Charles. This position will lead a team of Territory Sales Managers and will report directly to the VP of Sales.
Requirements:Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Achieve profitable sales growth within assigned territory.
- Utilize selling skills to develop and understand customer needs.
- Meet with existing customers and key decision makers to retain and increase sales.
- Identify opportunities and strategies for new business development.
- Manage and maintain customer relationships to ensure that customers are always satisfied.
- Deliver effective sales presentations during customer meetings.
- Attending and promoting Lyons Trade Shows and other marketing events.
- Help develop and implement annual sales goals.
- Keep current with changing trends, supply and demand and competitors to maintain sales.
- Hire, coach, and train Territory Sales Managers as required.
- Ensure Territory Sales Managers meet or exceed sales, new customer, accounts receivable, and gross profit goals.
- Attend weekly department head, sales, and quarterly meetings.
Requirements
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proven work experience as an RSM, Manager, or similar senior sales role.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales expectations.
- Ability to lead and motivate a sales team.
- Problem solving and negotiation skills.
- Proficient computer skills; Microsoft office products.
- Analytical skills to adjust sales strategies.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales and Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in a leadership role to include team development and management required.
- Must understand the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry.
Physical Requirement:
- May have to walk, sit, stand, and work on a computer for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to occasionally lift 50 lbs.
