Job description

Construction Materials Group is seeking to add an Account Manager/Sales Professional to our team. The ideal candidate will have experience generating sales leads with new clients and maintaining relationships with existing customers. This candidate will be able to understand a prospective client's needs and offer an ideal solutions. The ideal candidate should have experience in construction and have a positive track record of exceeding outlined goals, and excellent communication and time management.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with clients, Project Managers, Site Superintendents and Estimators
Set and exceed sales quotas
Prospect clients and understand their needs
Bid upcoming projects and develop a pipeline of consistent sales opportunities
Identify project and potential customer leads, complete sales cycle
Budget and allocate resources efficiently to maximize outcomes
Meet established territory sales goals

Qualifications

Concrete construction experience preferred
Construction industry knowledge required
Cold calling and sales generation with a track record of success
Demonstrated ability to set goals and achieve them
Experienced in territory lead generation
Strong communication skills and understanding of sales process
Experience in managing a book of business
Self-starter and ability to work independently to generate sales
