Now Hiring - Insurance Agent/Customer Service Representative in Jefferson, OH

Lyndall Insurance is a family-owned and operated independent insurance agency headquartered in Chagrin Falls Ohio with more than 25 employees. We're expanding to Jefferson in the heart of Ashtabula County in a merger with Massengill Insurance. Responsibilities:

• Be the friendly face and voice of insurance operations for the agency in Jefferson Ohio for existing customers and staff
• Work with clients on both big and small issues regarding their insurance policies with the agency
• Foster relationships in the community to create opportunities to grow the book
• Work closely with leadership and support staff in other office locations
• Evaluate business or individual customers’ needs and financial status and propose protection plans that meet their criteria
• Work with clients to deliver risk management strategies that fit their risk profiles
• Report the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to stakeholders
• Maintain bookkeeping systems, database and records
• Monitor insurance claims to ensure mutual satisfaction
• Achieve customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives
• Constantly update job knowledge and learn about new products and services

Skills:

• Proven working experience as a property and casualty insurance agent and active licenses. Life and Health licenses are a plus.
• Familiarity with all types of P&C insurance both personal and commercial. Life is a plus.
• Computer skills are a necessity. We have multiple systems in place to serve customers including an agency management system, quoting platforms, e-Signature suite, and texting and messaging. Microsoft, specifically Teams for messaging and video conferencing will be a necessity.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and effectively sell appropriate solutions.
• Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and creating long-lasting relationships
• Active insurance licenses are an absolute must

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
