Full description of the position

LOCATION: Miami, FL (territory area)

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time

PAY RATE: 55k-60k (Base) + commission

BENEFITS:

POSITION SCOPE:
The Sales Representative is responsible for meeting individual Account Sales Objectives by generating quotes, securing accounts, generating information pertinent to the market, involving accounts and competitors, meeting individual quotas and the performance requirements relating to individual and group objectives, as identified by the Sales Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Attains individual and group Sales objectives
  • Provides regular updates and information relating to daily activities and account status to the Sales Manager
  • Works in cooperation with the Sales Manager to help achieve individual objectives
  • Works with the Sales Manager to develop tools for tracking established
  • Works with the Sales Manager to develop reports to indicate levels of individual and group achievement
  • Develops and maintains economic and market information documentation
  • Analyzes, collates, and presents information related to current market conditions and competition as requested by the Sales Manager
  • Establishes and maintains accurate prospect and customers records
  • Cooperates and coordinates star- up of new accounts with Operations Representatives
  • Prepares and/or reviews new business proposals with accuracy and professionalism
  • Makes recommendations to Sales Manager relating to effective sales methods and techniques
  • Coordinates start-up of new accounts and develops short- and long-term relationships with accounts and franchisees as instructed by the Master Owner and Operations Representative
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
PREREQUISITE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EDUCATION:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2 years previous experience in sales, telemarketing, or administration in sales department
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Clear and pleasant telephone manner
  • Knowledge of MS Office products to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Proficient in the use of the Internet
  • Ability to document detailed and accurate prospect and client information in electronic database
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to function in high-pressure situations
  • Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other electronic devices
  • Ability to take legible hand-written notes where necessary
  • Correctable vision and hearing
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Clear, easy to understand oral communication ability
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs.

Work is generally performed in an office environment in which there is only minimal exposure to unpleasant or hazardous working conditions. Must have an ability to sit for long periods throughout the day. Must be able to use a telephone or headset equipment. The incumbent must be able to perform work at a computer terminal for 6 to 8 hours a day, function in an environment with consistent interruptions, and in rare circumstances, lift 20 lbs. The work may be stressful at times and demand the ability to hit the key deliverables for the role.
