Keystone Engineering is currently seeking an MSP Account Specialist to join our affiliate partner, VeraPro, for their Baton Rouge area team.

Position Type: Full-time

Location: Prairieville, LA

Work Environment/Physical Demands: Office/Sedentary with routine travel to client locations

Travel Requirements: Baton Rouge/New Orleans area

Essential Functions:

  • Support the VeraPro Team in their core IT business functions of providing Managed Service Provider (MSP) services across a client base of institutional learning, medical clinics, and other businesses that utilize external IT support.
  • Position is office based with travel to client locations as needed throughout the Baton Rouge area and occasionally to New Orleans.
  • Assist account managers in their daily operations and develop a thorough understanding of VeraPro's market strategy, resources, and services provided.
  • Understand clients' business objectives and IT needs and provide strategic recommendations for MSP services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions and services to clients.
  • Learn to identify new business opportunities within existing client accounts and work towards expanding the scope of services provided.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with clients to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns or issues.
  • Monitor and analyze client accounts performance, including revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the MSP space.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to clients, showcasing the value and benefits of our MSP offerings.
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing with clients, ensuring a "win-win" outcome for all parties.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute business development strategies for new MSP clients.
  • Participate in events such as conferences, trade shows, and fundraising functions to help provide VeraPro visibility.

Requirements:

  • B.S. degree in Business, IT, Education, or other Technology-related field.
  • 1-3+ years of experience in a professional office environment.
  • Basic knowledge of managed services, including cloud computing, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and IT support.
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and driven to advance and succeed.
  • Attention to detail, and prioritization skills.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
  • Availability to travel to client sites as needed.

Experience Preferred:

  • Background in Client Facing roles.
  • Proven track record in account management functions.
