Grand Rapids, MI – Founded in 1995, SPINDEL is an electronic technology company which designs, manufacturers and repairs high speed, industrial AC motor drives (adjustable frequency, electronic controllers/variable frequency drives (VFDs)) and systems. Experience gained in this position applies to a wide array of industrial markets including machine tools, automotive, aviation, electric vehicles, automation equipment and more.

We are in search of a full-time, Inside Sales/Applications, that will handle sales and application support of our industrial drive products and services. This position will be responsible for assisting in the definition and design of drive systems in the application spaces of grinding, milling, turbo compressors, and testing. In this position, there will be interaction with customers to build relationships with them and obtain a clear understanding of their expectations. Other responsibilities include: creating system engineering documents, maintaining the customer management system, and helping with product marketing material.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, computers, engineering, or similar with 2+ years of industrial manufacturing experience (specifically in industrial electronics/converts). Industrial sales experience in any or all of the following areas: pricing & discounts, commissions, OEMS, repair and service, and manufacturing.
