Business Development Service Manager
Woburn Toyota is looking for an energetic and motivated person to lead our Business Development Center. Applicants must be self-motivated, with high energy, enthusiastic, dependable, and results driven. We need people who can work as team players as well as independently, with little to no direction after completing a professional training program. A successful Business Development Service Manager needs the product knowledge, professionalism, and empathy that customers look for today. Communication is extremely important in a sales department as it contributes to team building with all dealership departments. The BDC is the voice of our dealership.
The Business Development Service Manager supervises a team that answers all incoming inquiries and makes outgoing calls to the dealership service center.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Manage a high volume of customer inquiries by phone, email, or text.
- Be a liaison between customers and the service department.
- Answers all inbound profit center calls for service and parts.
- Contacts all no-shows to reschedule missed appointments.
- Advises customers on special-order parts status, appointment reminders, and recall campaigns.
- Lead the Business Development Center team who responds and nurtures internet sales leads that are submitted by customers while ensuring that the dealerships actualize profit potential on internet sales.
- Ensures high quality, consistent, and professional communication with customers and prospects using the CRM, VinSolutions, call, text, and email functions, and leads their team to do the same.
- Utilizes the CRM to properly maintain and grow a dynamic customer database while also working to capture repeat business.
- Effectively lead communication with dealerships, the leadership team at said dealerships, and the Business Development Center team, acting as the bridge between the dealership and the customer.
- Understands and teaches the internet road to the sale process while working with the Business Development Center team and customers to set an appointment at Woburn Toyota, so the dealership can convert the customers to sales.
- Leads the Business Development Center team to direct customers to product information and resources, and stays up to date on new products, features, accessories, etc. and their benefit to customers to effectively assist customers in selecting a vehicle.
- Works with the Senior Management team to establish goals and benchmarks for the Business Development Center team and gives feedback frequently to ensure said goals and benchmarks are being met.
- Must be comfortable with computers programs and smart devices.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate has automotive sales and/or service experience and strong leadership qualities. He or she must conduct themselves professionally, have strong computer, organizational, and time management skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work in a collaborative environment is also a must.
Requirements
- Customer Service and/or sales/service experience preferred.

- Time management, prioritization skills, and the ability to multi-task are required.
