We’re looking for a proven Digital Transformation Product Manager who has deep Technical Knowledge and can drive complex problems to Solutions and Architectures, integrating Rockwell's Core products, partner products (PTC suite for example), and newly acquired products (Edge to IoT to User Consumption).
Digital Transformation Product Manager are expected to look at various desperate data sources that complement the customer's inputs to the system, such as MES, SQL, PLM, User, Smart System, Custom, etc., and create an integration point in Rockwell's Core products.
They are also required to understand how the Users of the system might interact with the data through rich Dashboards, published to a plethora of Devices (Desktop, HMI, Handheld, Wearables, and Immersive).
The Digital Transformation Product Manager is a technical leader capable of driving internal and external customer knowledge growth and, is passionate and driven by cutting-edge technology. The Digital Transformation Solution Engineer is a key contributor to the Americas Global Sales & Marketing (GSM). This role reports to the Digital Transformation Technical Officer (DTO) within North America and may live in any location within the continental United States.
What You'll Do:
  • Develop & present technical presentations and customized demonstrations of Solutions & Experiences to customers, prospects & partners
  • Organize technical workshops based on customers’ business needs and assign consultants
  • Manage the development cycles of Solutions in a SCRUM Master-like role
  • Update coding standards
  • Develop customer-facing documentation
  • Provide architecture coding standards
  • Manage knowledge transfer and training to customers, prospects & partners
  • Support sales team in qualifying potential opportunities with current customers and prospects
  • Develop technical responses for customer requests for information and proposals (RFI, RFP…)
  • Analyze customer processes and define Rockwell solutions value
  • Evaluate newly acquired IP to bring into solution development
  • Work with the office of the DTO to offer guidance in the building of solutions, accelerators, connectors, or custom apps
  • Be a key contributor to the vision of the DTO and the work we commit to
  • Be the Industry Expert in a number of fields: Auto & Tire (which includes Aerospace), Process (Oil, Gas, Mining, Chem, Metals etc), Consumer Packaged Goods (Food & Beverages, Household, and personal care etc.), Life Sciences (Pharma ), OEM ( Machine Builders)
  • You will assist companies in their digital transformation
  • You will lead the team collecting requirements, building solution architectures and improving speed to market.
  • You will be recognized as a Business Consultant or SME (subject-matter-expert) by our Clients

  • You will be an integral member of our Digital Transformation Center of Excellence solution engineering team
  • This is a team of subject-matter-experts & application engineers who are passionate about Solution Architecture and who have a strong focus on finding solutions & designing value added solutions for our clients and prospects
  • This high-level technically skilled team is multicultural, energetic and results-oriented
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Ability to travel up to 30%

  • Minimum 15 years' related experience

  • IoT: ThingWorx (Building Blocks, Services, UI Development), Vuforia Studio, Plex
  • Edge: Kepware, Factory Edge Gateway, Controllers, PLC
  • Network Protocols: REST, OPC-UA, ODBC, MQTT, ISA100
  • Structure & Process: JSON, DITA, XML, XSLT, HTML 5
  • CAD: Creo, Maya, Blender
  • Storage: MES, MySQL, SQL, Postgres, Oracle, Windchill
