Position Overview:

Our Innovations at VP Team is seeking to hire an experience Lighting Sales Associate to join our Buffalo showroom.

Our newly constructed Buffalo branch is excited to bring our lighting and electrical expertise to the greater Buffalo area. We have added this position to our new showroom to accommodate our growing customer base and their needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide sales and consulting services to trade/design customers, industry partners, and retail customers.
• Execute lighting sales strategies.
• Generate quotes for current and prospective clients.
• Develop and maintain relationships with lighting vendors and their representatives.
• Coordinate scheduled showroom visits, as well as handle walk-in customer appointments.

Qualifications:

• Sales experience in lighting and/or design. Experience in a retail or wholesale environment is preferred.
• Lighting background and product knowledge, highly desired.
• Must be detailed oriented and able to meet customer deadlines.
• Ability to adapt to time sensitive commitments to respond to customers and deliver excellent customer service.
