The Sales Coordinator is a detail-oriented person that is responsible for product set-up, sales reporting, ad-hoc requests and administrative support for assigned product lines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for Item Setup and Item Maintenance in retailer point of sale system. Includes set-up of individual items, promotional items, case packs, and ecommerce only items. Will work to improve data integrity of 1600 current items and assist ecommerce team with set-up and data integrity projects. Works with retail buying team on item setup and maintenance as needed.
  • Work cross functionally with multiple internal teams to achieve yearly Kontoor defined sales and product line goals. Includes work with Sales Planning, Replenishment, Category Management, Merchandising, Supply Planning, and Customer Service teams.
  • Collects, analyses, and communicates weekly, monthly and quarterly sales data. Maintains weekly sales history vs account plan. Maintains and analyses monthly SKU level inventory flow projection for assigned product lines.
  • Participates in weekly business reviews with retail buying team. Performs ad-hoc reporting and analysis of sales and inventory information for assigned product lines in preparation and support of weekly meetings.
  • Assists with preparation for account meetings and as needed, participates in account presentation and sell-in.
  • Serves as a support resource for the Director of Sales

  • Responsive customer service skills with an ability to build strong working relationships across a matrixed organization and with customer contacts.
  • Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office suite with strong ability in Excel and PowerPoint. Applicant should be comfortable with Excel pivot tables and creating small datasets for analysis from point-of-sale data. Experience with Retail POS reporting systems and Item Maintenance tools (Walmart Retail Link, Kohl’s K-Link, etc.) is preferred but not absolute if the candidate can demonstrate experience and knowledge with other database software applications.
  • Detail oriented and ability to multi-task
  • Understanding of retail math, including sell-through, productivity, and retail gross margin metrics preferred.

Experience/Education:
  • Years of Related Professional Experience: 2 – 8 years
  • 2- 5 Years Related Work Experience which may include: Business Intelligence Analyst, Sales Planning, Forecasting, Demand Planning, Merchandising, or POS (Point of Sale) Analyst
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related field
