Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Atlas is seeking an experienced Director of Business Development to lead growth opportunities for our transportation
infrastructure division with a focus on local, state, and federal government. Our ideal candidate is familiar with all
aspects of engineering project development within the State of Louisiana and brings with them a solid foundation of
existing relationships with decision makers and other key players in the transportation industry.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree required.

10 years of engineering business development experience preferred.

5+ successful years of sales team management experience, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.

Government contract experience necessary.

Proven ability to drive the sales process.

Strong business sense and industry expertise.

Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.

Demonstrated organizational, planning, and coordination skills.

Technical Requirements:
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels.

Track record of driving revenue and increasing positive brand perception through development of authentic, collaborative relationships with others.

Consistently willing and able to obtain resources and support for all endeavors.

Familiar with the diverse political structures and funding mechanisms within the State of Louisiana that affect project development and funding.

Able to recognize and leverage internal and external resources to increase competitive advantage and provide comprehensive, client-specific solutions.

Knowledgeable of and consistently engaged in identifying industry trends, synchronicities, and teaming opportunities.

Strategic planner capable of providing big-picture oversight and developing initiatives for long-term strategic growth.

Strong sense of urgency and personal accountability with the ability to respond quickly and decisively to time sensitive opportunities.

Established reputation as trusted advisor, facilitator, and resource to all parties including leadership, seller-doers, and clients.
