Jim Hawk Truck Trailers, Inc., one of the largest semi-truck trailer dealers in the Midwest, has been in business for over 50 years. We have a successful business history, culture of teamwork, and family values. We are looking for an energetic, highly motivated, Trailer Salesperson to join our team in Altoona, Iowa. This is an excellent opportunity for a Trailer Salesperson to step into a territory with existing accounts and excellent growth potential for new accounts.

Responsibilities include:

· Build strong relationships with current accounts and serve as a single point of contact

· Develop relationships and secure accounts from dormant accounts and non-customers

· Build relationships and collaborate with equipment/rental sales representatives for cross selling

· Maximize revenue in assigned territory

· Proactively monitor market conditions, new products, and competitors

· Utilize CRM tools

· Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications include:

· One year of related experience (truck trailer, heavy equipment, rental, etc.) is preferred

· Outstanding relationship-building and customer service skills

· Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

· Effective and demonstrated planning skills

· Basic computer skills

· Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed

· Valid driver’s license and a good driving record is required
