The Position will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments:
* Previous event planning in a hotel setting preferred but, not required, with knowledge of computers especially, previous experience with CI/TY, Word and Excel.
* Finalizes Banquet Event Orders (BEO) for all wedding related meetings & events. Books room blocks for all wedding related events.

* Work closely with banquet department on operations and event execution. Ability to quickly evaluate alternatives and decide on a plan of action.
* Social tables or like event diagraming experience preferred
* Encompass the ability to manage multiple functions and deliver results in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
* Strategically detail events to ensure smooth operations, food integrity, and timely event execution.
* Successfully upsell clients during the detailing process.
* Be the onsite point of contact alongside the banquet team
* Participate in Daily/Weekly Sales meetings.
* Assist with any other duties as requested by the General Manager & Director of Sales and Marketing
* Adherence to all policies stated in the Team Member handbook
* Flexible schedule required
* Other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Application Question(s):
- Required Prior Experience:
Minimum two (2) years of Catering Sales experience or two (2) years in hotel Event Services, Banquet, Group Sales, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Prior Experience:
Prior experience with the Group, and/or Social Event market segments
Preferred Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
Preferred Licenses/ Certification:
Certified Meeting Professional (CMP)
Required Technology:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools
Preferred Technology:
Demonstrated experience with industry specific sales and catering programs including Microsoft Office, CI/TY, particularly in detailing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)
