Now Hiring - Misumi USA - Customer Procurement and Sales Specialist in Austin, TX

Position Description

This role works on site at the client's facility outside of Austin, Texas (TESLA Texas Gigafactory). They strive to meet or exceed our customer's procurement requirements, oversees vending machine operations, and investigates sales expansion opportunities based on customer's stated wants as well as an assessment of the customer's procurement needs.

Job Responsibilities

Sales and Partnership Expansion

• Research and understand customer demand.
• Draft new service offerings and support and/or lead delivering proposal directly to the customer.
• Create and share materials that facilitate the expansion of our partnership with the customer to increase sales and strengthen the relationship.

Customer Support

• Must always embody superior customer support with laser focus on quality, cost, time and customer priorities.
• Obtain and respond to quotes according to customer requirements via phone and email with a sense of urgency.
• Manage shipment of ordered products to ensure on-time or earlier delivery against commitment dates.
• Communicate product shipping schedules when requested by customer.
• Support compliance to quality and work, if needed, with the customer service and procurement teams on quality claims.
• Support maintenance of product databases, website contents, and catalog product information to ensure accuracy.

Vending Machine Operations

• Monitor inventory quantities of vending machine products and ensure timely replenishment.
• Add and rearrange products to support customer requests.
• Respond to vending machine out-of-stocks and service complaints.
• Maintain the database of vending machine inventories, and provide usage data as requested by the customer.
• Customization and updating of vending machine services in response to customer requests and negotiations with vending machine manufacturers (such as system integration etc.)

Competency Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Highly proficient and consummately professional in business email and all forms of communications
• Spanish speaking is a plus (not required)
• Past sales experience
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Outstanding ability establishing, building, and maintaining customer relationships
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
