Family Choice of New York is seeking a caring person to join our sales team. You will develop business relationships with nursing facility staff, providers, and meet with facility residents and their families in order to enroll them in a special needs program. This position requires someone with outstanding communication skills who is self-directed, outgoing, empathetic, organized, enjoys working with people and can multi-task. Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent with emphasis in health care, social services, Medicare. Must be licensed in New York State to sell health insurance. Experience with Medicare population is highly desirable.

• Must meet pre-established sales production goals.

• Must adhere to strict compliance practices related to all job functions.

• Coordinate and conduct phone, mail, and one-to-one sales approach to residents and their responsible party/families that accurately represent the benefits of the Family Choice Program.

• Present information to prospective members in an accurate, compassionate, and non-threatening manner.

• Communicate program elements in a clear, concise manner.

• Plan, organize, and schedule Family Choice sales events.

• Oversee mailings and other promotional activities.

• Interface with network facilities, physicians, and providers.

• Maintain a regular presence at network facilities to establish rapport with key contacts and build understanding and acceptance of the program.

• Maintain all sales leads and contacts in the company CRM System.

• At the request of management, be available, in conjunction with Family Choice clinical staff, for facility orientation/reorientations.

• Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
