Associate Account Manager in Clive, IA
Job Purpose:
Responsible for assisting account managers with the growth, maintenance, and management of equipment and working capital loan opportunities. Assists with the development and maintenance of both vendor and broker relationships.
Essential Functions:
1.
Assists AM with account managements tasks including document requests, credit decision follow ups, information request follow ups.
2.
Provide customer service to applicants, vendor/broker during sales cycle. Responds to inquiries and/issues directly or assists the AM in the resolutions process.
3.
Assist AM with closing outstanding transactions by requesting/ gathering additional information and answering applicant questions.
4.
Will gain knowledge of T-value software to assist AM with pricing/quoting outstanding transactions.
5.
Back up AM during absences.
Note: Amount of time allocated to each function will be determined by volume and department needs.
Requirements:
Education: Associates degree or equivalent experience.
Experience: 1 year applicable experience required. Sales and finance experience preferred.
Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, sales and customer service skills, ability to take initiative and work in a team environment. Ability to adhere to established policies and procedures and promote other NCMIC Group, Inc. products and services.
Mental Demands: Works with little need for guidance or reliance on oral or written instructions, performs a wide range of tasks as dictated by business demands and changing conditions. Able to interpret data and problem solve with limited or incomplete information. Must focus on a task for extended periods of time as well as have the ability to multitask. Must be able to related to and work with a variety of other employees and customers. Ability to plan, organize and meet deadlines while maintaining a high accuracy rate.
Physical Demands: Continuous sitting for extended periods of time, some standing, walking, bending and reaching. Frequent use of fingers and hands to manipulate office equipment, including; computer, telephone, fax machine and copier.
