To continue our focus on servicing U.S. customers from our production site KP Components Inc. in Easley, South Carolina, USA (part of KP Components Group), we are looking for an experienced specialist in cooperation with customers.

To strengthen the cooperation with our customers in the US, an experienced Customer Service/Inside Sales Specialist (CSS/IS) who lives near the Upstate of South Carolina, is being sought for. The new CSS/IS will be an active participant in our strategy for the US market. We are looking for a candidate with a technical and consultative customer approach, where the focus is on servicing the relationship between KP's production facility and the customer. Secondarily, we would like to have someone who has experience in outgoing technical project sales and is also strong in portfolio management.
In addition, we want someone who can strengthen the current long-term relations with our existing customer base by understanding their most important needs, to achieve joint success.
The CSS/IS will formally refer to the COO for the factory in US but have professional reference to the group sales organization in Denmark.
The job content includes:
· Ensure high quality in the daily cooperation between the local production and the customer.
· Ensure effective 'Key Account Management' and further development of the existing customer base.
· Identifies and resolves customer complaints and keeps track of the progress made on the solutions.
· Prepare, negotiate, and finalize quotations according to the customer's requirements.
· Coordinates company resources to ensure swift and efficient responses to the customer.
· Represent customer's interests in projects regarding new products.
· Collaborates with various internal departments to ensure they fulfill all customer requests.
· Management of local sales-related documents and specifications.
· Participate in:
- The collaboration around customer-specific plans for forecasting and revenue growth with existing customers.
- Negotiating new and existing contracts with customers.
- Coordinating the company's resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.
· Maintain professional and technical knowledge by participating in educational workshops, following relevant publications and participating in professional networks.
Preferred qualifications:
We are looking for a candidate with a technical/commercial background, documented results, and experience from technical sales to large customers within mobile hydraulics, the automotive industry, the aviation industry or the energy sector.
The position requires a positive, outgoing personality with the ability to create constructive and long-lasting relationships with customers. In addition, the candidate possesses solid extroverted communication skills and has cross-cultural experience in a business environment, as well as experience with cooperation in European companies with a group structure where everyone works both at an overall level as well as in the detail. Travel activity around 10-20 days a year throughout North America, in combination with occasional trips to the headquarters in Denmark must be expected.

- Possess and live up to the highest ethical and business standards and always present oneself with the greatest professional integrity.
- Demonstrate effective negotiation and closing techniques.
- Strong skills in using the Microsoft Office package, in particular Excel.
- Structured and possess time management skills, as well as great attention to detail.
- Technical and financial understanding are essential for success in this position.
- A problem-solving mindset with good analytical skills, to assess sales performance and interpret market development.
