Service Sales Specialist - West Region Digital Lead

This Service Sales Specialist has the task of delivering the service portfolio to ABB customers within the Automation & Electrification Service, Process Automation Energy Industries (PAEN) helping to drive sales volumes and margins across the Service product portfolio and regularly updating the database with changes made on site. In this role you will play a crucial role in implementing the service sales strategy, with a focus on penetrating installed base and promoting digital solutions along with Care contracts, upgrades, retrofits and value added solutions.

IAEN Service Manager, Americas HUB

Your responsibilities

  • Developing sales strategy/plan for various digital products to help support account managers in reaching their individual digital quotas
  • Owning the quota for assigned portfolio in assigned territory, responsible for building and maintaining sales pipeline with good mix of coverage of existing and new accounts
  • Prioritizing opportunities for maximum hit rate and leading local sales pursuits
  • Implementing or overseeing a winning strategy for every qualified cyber security opportunity in the pipeline
  • Working through the PAEN account team, demonstrate to customers that ABB is the best possible digital partner
  • Utilizing the installed base data to identify and develop sales opportunities
  • Communicating contract details in accordance with ABB offerings and strategy and managing associated administrative sales processes
  • Actively promoting ABB’s digital service products and solutions in marketing activities (example trade fairs and customer meetings) while monitoring trends to develop effective marketing activities

Your background

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years of experience
  • Sound knowledge of ABB Process Automation digital solutions
  • Knowledge of the Oil, Gas, Chemical, Refining, Power, Water and Pharmaceuticals markets
  • The ability to develop and manage customer relationships
  • A collaborative, solution focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
