Pay Range: $80,000 to $90,000

Overview

Come grow with us by joining our team as an Inside Account Manager! In this role, you will play a critical role for the company and will work alongside other professionals within the team and other departments. As an Inside Account Manager, you will serve as a partner with the National Accounts Representative, helping them quote new business, and maintain current nationwide clients. The Inside Account Manager serves as their National Account Rep’s partner by generating quotes, aiding in the sales process, and managing the vehicle process from post-sale to delivery. you will aid one-to-two National Account Representatives, being Model 1’s concierge to customers in tandem with the outside representative

Responsibilities

Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role:

  • Develop and maintain business relationships with internal customers and generate new quotes for the organization’s products/services.
  • Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers to purchase vehicles.
  • Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
  • Provides pre-sales support to National Accounts Rep(s) and post-sales support to customers.
  • Manages the vehicle delivery process from receipt of PO, through invoicing and shop inspection, to delivery.
  • Provide support to National Accounts Representatives by answering all product related questions promptly – product training, pricing, and marketing material.
  • Identify advantages and compare the organization’s products/services with those of our competition. Be able to communicate that with Sales Representative(s).
  • Supply management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities.
  • Stay current on product offerings and options through continual contact with the manufacturers.
  • Keep abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas. Other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain knowledge of product line to:
  • Understand specifications and requirements.
  • Analyze market trends.
  • Help to identify target customers.
  • Collaborate and strategize with outside sales to develop new tools increasing outside sales efficiency.
  • Serve as a backup for Inside Sales to answer phone calls and internet leads, determining if they are a Transactional customer, Account, or National Account

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • 5-7 years sales and/or administrative experience required. Industry experience a plus but not required.
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers.
  • Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Must be a great problem solver and have critical thinking skills.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) applications and contact management software.
