Responsibilities include answering customer calls and providing prompt issue resolution; data entry; assisting in account reconciliation; preparing reports and invoices; processing new accounts and occasional miscellaneous projects. Some primary duties include:
- Identify, maintain, and assess customer’s needs to ensure the utmost customer service satisfaction.
- Effectively manages large amounts of incoming calls on the office phone system, responds to direct requests for information and/or forwards messages to appropriate staff.
- Partners with the sales team to meet and exceed the customer’s expectations and build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication.
- Address all customer concerns to resolution or escalate to appropriate manager for concerns that are unable to be resolved.
- Electronically filing all appropriate documents into our paperless program
- Serves as the liaison for all transportation communication between the manufacturing facility and customer.
- Daily processing of Purchase Orders and sending Bills of Lading to the respective manufacturing facilities in a timely and accurate manner.
- Uses telephones to reach out to customers/buyers and will support answering incoming calls as needed.
- May provide routine clerical support and work closely with the Accounting department to help resolve billing issues
- Occasionally responds to or handles consumer complaints and notifies supervisor and/or Sales of the complaint.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Customer Service Manager
- Participates on varied project teams and works on initiatives that may expand services or efficiencies.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum one (1) year office customer service/administrative support experience is preferred. Business to Business experience preferred.
- High School diploma required. Some college preferred.
- Ability to apply a variety of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
- Excellent organizational skills (oral and written) and the ability to excel at details, multi-tasking and working under pressure.
- Database interface and knowledge of query knowledge software for data entry and customer service applications.
- Advanced skills in MS Office required: including Access. Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Ability to communicate effectively with others through electronic systems
- Excellent communicator, verbally and in writing. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
PAY RELATED INFORMATION
- The salary range for this position is: $15.50 per hour - $22.79 per hour
- The actual salary for this role will be determined by a variety of factor, including but not limited to the candidate’s skills and experience.
- Please note that Base Pay is one important aspect of a compelling competitive Rewards package. The base pay range indicated here does not include any additional benefits or cash bonuses that you may be eligible for based on your role and/or employment type.
