TITLE: Regional Dental Sales Manager– SouthEast Region
EXEMPT
DEPARTMENT: Sales
REPORTS TO: Director of Sales
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The ideal Regional Sales Manager for the SouthEast Region will possess sales experience in dental labs/jewelry/investment casting; and will be responsible for overseeing the sales operations on a regional level. The manager is tasked to generate sales leads, build and maintain client relationships, make presentations, write sales proposals, attend trade events for marketing promotion and be the main point of contact for customers located in the SouthEast. RSM analyses sales potentials/ leads to grow the customer base, customer needs, market opportunities and pricing of service and goods. RSM also directs, trains and supervises his sales team to maximize profit and attain sales goals.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Calls on customers (In Person, E-Mail and Phone) on a regular basis in order to identify & satisfy their needs that require R&R products and services
- Prepares and submits required reports on activities such as sales calls, monthly reports & expenses to keep management fully informed
- Prepares competitive and reasonable pricing and quotes that will attract customers to place their orders at the same time ensuring that the profit margin is maximized
- Conducts general scheduled meetings & unscheduled discussions with staff with respect to current and potential customers that impact sales potentials/risks
- Conducts general business development & planning (account strategies) in Investment Casting, Jewelry, Solid Mold & Dental market segments
- Informs R&R management of competitive market activities, products, pricing, marketing, etc., such information to develop effective R&R sales and marketing strategies
- Coordinates and assists with technical and customer service personnel to resolve customer issues
- Presents, sends and follow up on samples requested and for testing
- Attends industry trade shows, expositions, and other meetings, to maintain and expand R&R presence in the market
- Advocates professional development with respect to the sales function
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing or related field is required. Must have a good grasp of economics and market dynamics, understanding of cost-to-serve, marketing, negotiation and customer service skills. Proven relevant experience of two or more years in the same field is required. Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written is required. Should have the ability to manage multiple deadlines with a high level of accuracy. Have a positive attitude with a high level of accountability, personal drive, ambition, integrity. Must understand how the work contributes and collaborate in a larger process with other departments.

Salary: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
