Full description of the position

The IT Vendor Account Manager will be a member of 3rd Party Service Management team working directly with vendors in an account management capacity. This person will act as the principal point of contact for coordinating communication between Business, IT, Compliance, and Vendor. The IT Service Advisor will be responsible for communication, performance review, audit requests, managing issues/risk, process leadership, and change management.

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate/host meetings and assist with presentations
Gather requirements, communicate expectations, and analyze designs
Proactively identify gaps/potential issues
Monitoring, ticket triaging and routing, issue analysis and resolution or proper delegation
Participate in Annual Enrollment Process (AEP) readiness
Document Service Level Agreements (SLA)/performance metrics report requirements
Remove obstacles and barriers and escalate appropriately
Participate in finding efficiencies, improve applications and associated processes
Participate/provide input on production issues and follow up activities, ad hoc research and analysis

Desired Experience / Qualifications:
Vendor management and/or project management
Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) / file exchange implementation
Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid industries
Experience working in agile and matrixed environments
Flexibility and experience working as an individual contributor and as a member of a team
