Job Responsibilities
Overview:
1. Maintain the weekly/bi-weekly (potential) sponsor pipeline.
2. Create and update partnership presentation
PowerPoint, InDesign and illustrator.
Research and case studies
3. Manage the sponsor website
Track and follow up on all leads.
Update content and add articles
Create and collect articles about centennial girls and other influencers
4. Develop/Create/Manage a NEW sponsorship social media platform (LinkedIn, Twitter, IG)
Connect with brands, agencies and influencers.
Send out information to drive potential sponsors to our website.
Promote articles about centennial girls and other influencers (how Varsity Spirit is one of the leading experts)
5. Manage Social Media/Email and BAND the App:
Serve as the BAND subject matter expert for all of Varsity Spirit
Communicate with all VS brands to promote BAND groups at events throughout the year
Keep all VS brands up to date with digital assets and announcements
Schedule all Sponsor/Partner posts, emails and promotions
Ensure VS staff are successfully creating and using BAND groups to communicate
Create content outlines, schedule posts, photos and work alongside BAND team
Help staffing directors/event directors create and manage “Staff BANDs”
Police all Varsity Spirit BANDs
6. Work with varsity.com to coordinate all sponsor programs and social posts.
Coordinate sponsor related items with the IT Girls (School) and Fashionistas (All-Star)
7. Assist in coordinating all on-site activation and manage (some) on-site non-Disney activations.
Handle staffing- payroll.
Setup/breakdown and all Shipping.
8. Communication with all Brands on all sponsorship needs and initiatives (School, Dance and All-Star with Varsity Spirit and VBSSA and IMPACT with Varsity Brands).
9. Some help with other Varsity Brand partnership/sponsorship opportunities for VBSSA and IMPACT.
10. Handle and create signage, banners and sponsor logo approval through printing.
11. Assist, manage and coordinate all on-site activation:
Logistics - load in/out and assist our sponsor needs
Liaison between the sponsor/partner and the Varsity Spirit brand onsite.
Handle staffing- – manage payroll, travel, hotel and staff assignments
Handling all shipping.

Physical Demands and/or Work Environment
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While not participating in an event this job operates in a professional office environment. Largely a sedentary role with some filing requiring the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary. Ability to sit or stand for long periods through meetings and while operating office equipment, PC’s, laptop, telephone will be required.
During events the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time (5 hours plus) is required. The ability to communicate with customers and colleagues using the following but not limited to radio, walkie talkie, text message and email is required. The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and manipulate equipment that is a minimum of 30 lbs. is required.
Travel
Event travel and attendance at staff meetings & trainings is required. Event travel will include overnight stays for events.
Education, Certification and Experience
High school diploma or GED.
Experience in administrative support role for at least 2 years is preferred
