Company Overview:
The Fabric Shop Network is the industry association for independent fabric and quilt retailers globally which is based in Battle Ground, Washington. With a rich history spanning twenty-six years, we provide valuable industry insights, trends, and resources to our dedicated membership. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Customer Representative to join our team. This position will primarily focus on sales calls and digital marketing for The Fabric Shop Network company.
Position: Customer Representative - Sales Calls & Digital Marketing
Employment Type: Full-time, Immediate Opening
Responsibilities:
1. Sales Calls:
- Conduct outbound sales calls to prospective fabric and quilt retailers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to drive sales and promote customer loyalty.
- Identify customer needs and provide appropriate product recommendations and solutions.
- Effectively communicate product features, benefits, and pricing to potential customers.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer service.
2. Digital Marketing:
- Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive customer engagement.
- Create engaging and persuasive content for various digital channels, including social media, email marketing, and the company website.
- Manage social media accounts and actively participate in relevant online communities to promote The Fabric Shop Network company.
- Monitor and analyze digital marketing campaigns' performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing optimization strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and digital marketing best practices to ensure a competitive edge.
3. Collaboration and Reporting:
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to align strategies and achieve business goals.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, customer feedback, and marketing campaign performance.
- Assist in market research and competitor analysis to identify potential growth opportunities.
- Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in sales, customer service, or digital marketing roles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in digital marketing techniques and platforms.
- Familiarity with social media management and content creation.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track and interpret marketing data.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for the fabric and quilt industry is a plus.
