Accepting resumes for Outsides Sales Representative

Button Oil & Propane is seeking candidates with proven sales experience for the position of an Outside Sales Representative. The candidate must also be goal driven with a positive attitude. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and family-owned company! We offer positions based out the Poconos. Medical coverage and time off starting on the 1st day of employment.

Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Present sales proposals to potential customers

• Evaluating customer needs

• Target potential accounts for assigned territory

• Understanding of margin requirements to meet profitability goals

• Developing effective sales strategies

• Maintaining records of sales leads

• Identify opportunities to improve sales

• Promotion of company programs, budgets, price caps, locked pricing, and automatic delivery

• Maintain account information through approved CRM

• Represents and promotes the company’s products and services in a professional manner

• Recommend improvements to boost sales results

• Monitor market conditions (i.e., competitors, changes in the industry, etc.)

• Manage customer quotes

• Account set up

• Understanding ROI on company assets

• Maintain open communication with the customer service manager

• Build strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors

• Learn new technologies as needed

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Goal driven approach

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes occasional evenings and weekends

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Solid persuasive and negotiation skills

• Great presentation skills

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods at a time

• Clean criminal and driving background checks

• Knowledge of MS Office including MS Outlook
