Position Overview

R&R is excited to announce the opening of their new brokerage office in Quincy, MA!

Sr. Sales Executives will broker loads, interact with customers and drivers, negotiate pricing, and monitor the shipment from pick-up to delivery. This role allows you to build your book of business while learning all aspects of the industry so that you can better serve your customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with customers and carriers
• Close major accounts and help encourage peers
• Negotiate and secure competitive rates for freight services
• Analyze and consult market trends
• Ensure shipping requirements are met and regulations are followed
• Provide ongoing customer support including shipment tracking

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
• 2+ years of experience in transportation/logistics, preferably in a brokerage setting
• FTL experience
• Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), CRMs
• Knowledge of sales development strategies
• Exceptional analytical thinking, problem solving, and organizational skills
• Self-motivated and self-directed; ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Leadership qualities and ability to train others and lead a team as your business grows

• Hourly rate + commission
• Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, WFH on Wednesdays!
