The Budtender Position

Budtenders make up our front of house retail sales team. While fulfilling this role, budtenders help customers in our retail store and help them select a suitable product to fit their needs.

The Ideal Candidate

The cannabis industry is a fast paced one. We have a keen eye for budtenders that demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, effort, reflection, and new ideas.

Budtenders should demonstrate strong communication and customer service skills by listening to the customer, being well-informed, and ensuring customers are satisfied with their purchases.

Good Budtenders connect with customers on a personal level and can help customers find a product that best serves their individual needs.

Great Budtenders keep customers coming back to the store by cultivating a trusted and consultative relationship. They have put effort in to understanding the product and work in a consultative role to determine the best product choice.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Practice and develop a safety mindset.
• Follow all laws, rules, compliance tasks, and policies.
• Communicate with Shift Leads concerning daily deals, sales, and goals.
• Professional and friendly customer service, ID Checks, and sales.
• Consulting customers based on their needs, preferences, and budgets.
• Educating customers about cannabis and CBD science.
• Processing customers' payments and other cash handling activities.
• Maintain cleanliness of lobby, sales counter, employee bathroom, and kitchenette/break room.
• Re-stock during, and at the close of each shift.
• Always communicate in a professional manner and help generate a calm and enjoyable environment for customers and the team.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position:

Pay: $15.00 + DOE + Tips
