Full description of the position

Property Manager:

Serve as the CEO of a student housing community & take ownership & pride: this an opportunity for someone who is entrepreneurial and driven to succeed! It's not for someone looking for a 9-5 job. Weekend and evening hours may be required during some times of the year!

Oversee all staff including leasing and maintenance staff.

Develop marketing and leasing strategies. Implement & execute strategies to help lease the community.

Work with university departments & partners and build long-lasting relationships with stakeholders in the student housing community.

Quickly learn & master the student housing market!

Engage and manage relationships with vendors

Submit weekly billing & other administrative reports

Walk the property 2x daily and monitor the facilities for upkeep

Respond to emergencies requiring management staff

Manage budgets.

Requirements:

5+ years property management experience (student preferred but not required)

College degree strongly preferred

Leasing experience

Sales experience

Excellent written skills

Strong computer skills with experience in Entrata or Yardi

Resourcefulness

Eagerness to do whatever it takes to lease a community, ensuring high levels of resident satisfaction and maintaining a positive & encouraging working environment for the entire staff.

This is a small community with a small staff so it will require someone who is comfortable doing everything from handing a resident a package to interacting with a parent to touring an apartment to helping a vendor with a project. It’s fast and fun-paced!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000,000.00 - $100,000,000.00 per year
