A Japanese Global Logistics company is looking for a sales and business development specialist to join their Tempe AZ office. The ideal candidate will have around 1-2 years of business development experience in the logistics and freight forwarding industry.

Title: Logistics Sales and Business Development

Type: Direct Hire Full Time

Industry: Supply Chain and Logistics

Location: Tempe AZ

Salary: 58-60k depending on experience + benefits

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of supply chain and the freight forwarding industry
• Able to travel in the greater Phoenix area
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Minimum of 1+ year in logistics business development/ sales
• Minimum of an Associates degree required
• Excellent communication

Responsibilities:

• Network and develop new business clients in the US
• Travel to customer facilities to ensure cargo loading
• Work closely with operations branch offices, suppliers and vessel operators
• Communicate with customers including their overseas offices
• Keep customers up to date of any deliveries, issues that may arise and any required documentations
