Fire & Safety Equipment Company is searching for a qualified applicant to fill an open outside sales position.

Qualifications for Sales Representative
- 2-4 years of sales experience required.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas.
- Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Highly self-motivated
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Responsibilities for Sales Representative
- Prospect and qualify new sales leads.
- Schedule meetings and presentations with departments.
- Create, plan, and deliver product presentations. (MSA products (SCBA, Gas Meters, Helmets...etc.), Turnout Gear, Tools, Uniforms, etc.)
- Continuing education on products beyond probationary period. (reading newsletters, videos, attending required conferences)
- Develop and create quotes, sales orders, purchase orders and all necessary documentation to track customer behavior (QuickBooks).
- Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and customers to ensure purchasing habits, trends, and budgets are clear.
- Meet and/or exceed quotas.
- Coordinate with other team members to optimize sales. There may be times that you travel outside your sales “territory” to assist another salesperson. Assisting with walk through sales trailer being brought to customers.
- Attend conferences as needed, sometimes out of the area or state.
