JOB SUMMARY

Our Sales Associates work to provide exceptional customer service to each of our customers by quickly handling their needs with a positive attitude. Typical duties involve (but are not limited to) cashiering, stocking, and consulting with customers on a daily basis.

WAGE/BENEFITS

-Full-time, hourly position

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/FUNCTIONS:

-Consistently punctual.
-Follow security and safety policies/procedures.
-Consulting customers.
-Cashiering
-Receiving/putting away inventory.
-Mixing specialized paint colors.
-Cutting large exhaust hoses
-Cutting rope to ordered length.
-Cutting fiberglass to ordered length.
-Assembling trailers that have been ordered.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

-Works inside shop under regular conditions.
-Works outdoors under regular weather conditions as needed.

Equipment use:

-Common tools of the trade (Wrenches, screwdrivers, etc).
-Common power tools.|
-Forklift
-Paint mixer

Work Hours:

-Standard shift is 8 hours, with a 5-day work week (40 Hours total).
-Days worked may vary due to the demands of schedule.

MENTAL DEMANDS:

-Continuously requires attention to detail, organization, alertness.
-Medium/slow-paced atmosphere.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

-Continuous standing for extended periods of time, stair climbing, use of eye-hand-foot coordination, lifting objects above head.

-Frequent climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, walking, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying up to and exceeding 50 lbs. of parts.

COMMUNICATION DEMANDS:

-Continually talks to and meets request of supervisor.
-Needs to be able to communicate clearly and concisely.
-Needs to have candor when asked questions.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Skills/Knowledge:

-Ability to provide prompt, friendly and quality customer service.
-Knowledge of marine rigging (preferred but not required).
-Marine repair knowledge.
-Cash handling

Education/Training:

-High School Diploma or equivalent.
-Valid Driver’s License.

Experience:

-1 year marine knowledge preferred but not required.
