The Opportunity:
Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley is currently looking for Sales Coordinator.
Essential function of the job:
- Provide all support functions to the management team in the Sales & Marketing department.
- Perform administrative duties such as managing account database, email, copying and faxing.
- Provide main telephone coverage for the office.
- Check voicemail and email message.
- Take precise and correct message with appropriate follow up.
- Assist with individual reservation requests.
- Create and billing procedures as they relate to group, corporate and individual business.
- Prepare meeting planner kits, assist with preparation of fam trips and site inspections.
- Create and management of monthly promotional mailings, newsletters and promotions for guests.
- Coordinate and assist with group bookings and events.
- Coordination of sales appointments for the Sales & Marketing Management.
- Achieve prospecting and business development goals as determined by supervisor.
- Assist with Sales Trip preparation.
- Respond to inquiries and requests in the absence of the Sales & Marketing Management.
- Assist with all office sales efforts, such as responding to general inquiries and client requests and coordinate with other departments.
- Assist with front of house operations including greeting and directing guests, manning hospitality desks, and working with Banquets on ‘quick sets’ or teardowns when needed.
- Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management.
- Maintain an inventory of all standard department supplies and printed materials, including but not limited to Catering Corporate and wedding packets, special menu cards and velum.
- Participate in scheduled departmental and administrative meetings as requested.
- Periodically required to work on the weekends to assist the special events.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous secretarial, hotel, and/or related experience required.
- Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
- Proficient in computer skills (including Delphi, Opera, Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams) necessary to complete correspondence such as proposals, letters and inter-office communications.
- Work well under pressure, requires multitasking and being a team player.
- Detail oriented, well developed organizational skills and a strategic thinker.
- Must provide work authorization document - proof of eligibility to work in the United States of America
