Junior Account Manager in San Diego, CA
Position Overview
The Junior Account Manager is responsible for developing long-term relationships with the portfolio of assigned customers and connecting with key business executives. The Junior Account Manager is focused on servicing and growing existing customers within the small business space. This position acts as a liaison between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to strategic customer needs.

- Contact clients to understand their requirements and work on a sales strategy
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship, suggest company products/services that maximize client satisfaction
- Promote new products/services to existing customers
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Forecast and track key account metrics
- Identify and grow opportunities within the territory and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment
- focused on prospecting and uncovering opportunities via cold calling.
- Assist with high-severity requests or issue escalations as needed
Qualifications
- BA/BS in Business Administration, Marketing, or a relevant field
- Minimum one year, Proven work experience as a Junior Account Manager or 2+ relevant sales-type role
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., TIMS, HubSpot)
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Good time-management skills with a problem-solving attitude

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” business.
