Local B2B sales with Great Benefits

Great opportunity for local business-to-business sales to the foodservice industry with excellent benefits. The Sales Representative will oversee a territory encompassing Montgomery and the surrounding area. This position reports to the Sales Manager. The Sales Representative will focus on procuring new business for the Company’s used cooking oil collection and recycling, grease trap cleaning, and animal rendering lines of business, and will be available to support operations in providing customer service to existing customers. This is a local sales position with travel, but rarely overnight. The sales representative will be provided with a vehicle for company-related travel and equipment delivery.

Duties & Responsibilities

This position requires excellent verbal communication skills, technology competency, and the ability to perform physical labor.

• Organize and execute daily sales routes throughout territory calling on existing customers and new business opportunities, to achieve excellent customer relations, customer retention and business growth.
• Record daily activities in Salesforce and use the tool to ensure timely follow-up.
• Support operations out of the Company’s Montgomery transfer station by performing customer service-related tasks as needed, including tank placement and periodic maintenance.
• Maintain an acceptable driving record and follow all company policies related to driving and maintaining a company vehicle.
• Attend periodic sales training events and participate in periodic sales blitzes in locations throughout the Company’s service area.
• Any other tasks necessary for the proper execution of duties and responsibilities of the position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED. A college degree would be a plus, but not required.
• Experience in a business-to-business sales or service role a plus, but not required.
• Motivated self-starter that can work well with all levels of an organization.
• Experience with Excel, Word, Outlook, and other general office programs. Salesforce experience a plus, but not required.
• Highly organized with an attention to detail.
