Position Summary

The Territory Dealer Manager (TDM) reports directly to the Region Manager. Key actions of the job include:
  • Safety focus.
  • Targets fleets within assigned territory.
  • Makes a minimum of 15 fleet calls/week.
  • Works directly with Commercial Sales Reps 3 times/week.
  • Regular touchpoints with Dealer Strategic Account Manager/Region Manager.
  • Regular touchpoints with Territory Fleet Manager/National Fleet Manager.
  • Usage of Toolbox surveys and reporting.
  • Actively adapts and updates dealer business plans as needed.


Responsibilities

  • Primary Bridgestone Commercial Solutions lead for assigned dealers within territory that do not have Dealer Strategic Account Manager/Business Development Manager coverage.
  • Retention and support of Bridgestone Commercial Solutions dealer and fleet accounts within assigned territory.
  • Acquisition of targeted fleet accounts within assigned territory.
  • Training, support and mentoring of dealer Commercial Sales Reps.
  • Partners with Dealer Strategic Account Manager/Region Manager to develop, execute, and communicate key dealer business plans, pricing and programs
  • Regularly communicates fleet program guides, tire policy documents, and fleet customer feedback to servicing dealer network as needed.
  • Understanding, and drives adoption rate, of Fleet Mobility Solutions (Intellitire, REACH, Toolbox).
  • Coordinates with Dealer Strategic Account Manager/Region Manager to resolve dealer issues, and grow share.
  • Reviews dealer orders of critical inventory items with Dealer Strategic Account Manager/Region Manager.
  • Understanding and weekly utilization of Salesforce.
  • Understanding and application of Bridgestone Commercial Solutions products and programs.
  • Collects and reports competitive market intelligence to National Fleet Manager/Region Manager.
  • Supports Technical Service Rep in FSE process and execution.

Minimum Qualifications

Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of commercial experience or bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a master's degree; or equivalent work experience
