Full description of the position

The Sales Team Leader is responsible for developing the sales team, coordinating sales operations and implementing sales techniques that allow the business to meet and surpass its sales targets consistently. Please Note: This is on-site position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Drive sales for a portfolio of new and existing Anatometal customers.You will develop, coach and lend expertise to the Sales Team in areas such as product knowledge, persuasive selling and customer service techniques.

• Be responsible for providing guidance, instruction, training, and leadership skills to inspire the team to perform at their optimum.
• Partner in managing operations including performance management.
• Keep the sales team informed of Anatometal’s exciting new products and services.
• Submit weekly recap reports for assigned customers

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI):

• Develop strategic sales plans that expand the customer base and ensure the company maintains a strong presence in the industry.
• Meet or exceed expected sales volumes and quality levels.
• Identify gaps/inefficiencies and take corrective action.
• Delegate tasks to sales team and set deadlines.
• The cultivation of interpersonal relationships, building and maintaining strong lines of communication with external customers, as well as strong team relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• A minimum of a high school diploma, or equivalent education. College degree preferred.
• 5+ years of sales experience with a track record of over-achieving sales quota.
• Excellent verbal/non-verbal communication skills.
• Strong proficiency with CRM systems and best practices.
• Able to multi-task and be flexible to business need changes while maintaining a high level of organization
• Skilled with the use of Microsoft Office Suite
• Must live within commuting distance to Santa Cruz, CA as this is an On-Site position.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds if needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
