Vehicle Upgrade Exchange Sales/Buyer – Kearny Mesa Hyundai

Job Summary:

Kearny Mesa Hyundai is looking to hire a Vehicle Upgrade Exchange Sales/Buyer. This is a unique role that assists on the Service Drive while utilizing technology to provide every Service customer with options to sell or trade their vehicle. It is a great opportunity to work for a high-volume sales leader. You will have access to appraisal tools and be able to work directly with the public.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitates the purchase or trade of vehicles from our Service Department
  

• Monitor and track all incoming leads from our Software
  

• Input and follow up on leads using our CRM system
  

• Enhances the customer experience on the drive and in the dealership
  

• Obtain and provide all necessary documentation for purchases
  

• Conduct accurate vehicle assessments by collecting and recording all required information for customer appraisal.
  

• Assist in handing off or setting up appointments with the sales team for the trade opportunities
  

• Track all purchases and trades acquired and provide a weekly report on the number of leads and acquisitions.
  

• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
  

Qualifications:

• Must have the ability to retain crucial information regarding the retail/wholesale vehicle market
  

• Proven organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
  

• Demonstrate ability to multi-task, handle frequent interruptions, and be able to shift priorities
  

• Demonstrate strong and effective oral and written communication skills
  

• Professional and well-groomed appearance
  

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
  

• Sales License required

• Clean driving record and valid driver's license
  

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  

• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
  

Required Skills/ Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication
  

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  

• Proficient understanding of CRM systems
  

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
