We started out selling street sweepers, motor graders and air compressors from our 7th street, Phoenix, Arizona location. Road Machinery now operates across Arizona and California including world class re-manufacturing facilities for Diesel Engines, Transmissions, Electrical Rotating Devices and Hydraulic Cylinders.

Essential Duties
- Receive customer parts orders by phone or at the parts counter.
- Research and look up parts to assist customers in finding solutions to parts issues.
- Perform warehousing duties including picking orders, shipping/receiving, checking in emergency and stock orders, shelving and locating stocked parts.
- Deliver parts to customer sites as needed.
- Perform driving duties as assigned.
- Maintain general housekeeping in the Parts Department and warehouse.

- Customer Service: The ability to provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering their questions, and providing them with accurate information about parts and products.
- Product Knowledge: Understanding the products sold by the company, including their features, benefits, and uses. The ability to answer technical questions and provide product recommendations based on customer needs is essential.
- Sales and Marketing Skills: The ability to promote and sell products by explaining the benefits of using them to customers, highlighting the features that meet their needs, and providing competitive pricing and promotions.
- Attention to Detail: The ability to accurately count and identify parts, ensuring that customers receive the correct products and that inventory levels are accurately maintained.
- Time Management: The ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and complete tasks efficiently to meet customer demands and ensure that inventory levels are maintained. This may include working collaboratively with other team members to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications
- Experience in heavy equipment industry preferable
- Parts Counter experience preferred.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
- Forklift experience
- Valid Drivers License with good driving record.
- Ability to learn company specific software.
- Have basic computer literacy.
