Job Title: Sales Support Coordinator
Department: Summit Supply Company Inc.
Reports To: Distribution Senior Manager
We are a restaurant equipment company that provides sales, design, installation services in Upland, CA. Summit Supply started from the ending chapters of a company that has been in business for over 60 years, and the owner was ready for his retirement years. We have kept his existing clientele, which consists of a large, well-known fast food chain, restaurants, ice cream shops, and other food service businesses. Our goal is to provide our customers with the equipment they need at a fair price with unmatched timeframes and customer service. Knowing the needs of our clients, we keep stock of the items crucial to keep their businesses running. Whether it is a ground-up build or a replacement piece of equipment, Summit Supply is there to care for its customers.
Job Summary:
As a member of our growing organization, The Sales Support Coordinator role acts as a key part of our organization by delivering outstanding customer service and building strong relationships. He or she will be responsible for coordinating equipment sales, handling shipments, and office administration.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained
- Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on stock levels and manufacture ship dates
- Fulfills customers’ orders by pulling merchandise, palletizing, and scheduling pickups with carriers
- Works with inside sales representatives to keep account activities and literature up to date
- Tracks stock levels
- Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database
- Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts
- Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries
- Work with Senior Management to obtain institutional knowledge concerning products, processes and systems
- Closes sales by building rapport with potential account; explaining product and service capabilities; overcoming objections; preparing contracts
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience in the restaurant, food sales, or food service equipment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office with immediate expertise in Excel and Word
- Ability to work with different personality types, always representing the company in a professional manner
- High energy and enthusiastic
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and initiatives
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects
- Self-starter. Must ask questions and learn new skills quickly on the job
- Motivated and driven team player
- Experience in Autoquotes and or AutoCAD software is desired but not required
