Position Reports To: Director of Sales

Summary Description:

• Assist in developing annual marketing and sales goals; also various strategic plans as required
• Respond to customer’s questions as needed
• Achieve annual gross profit margins on outside customers
• Review blueprints and/or patterns, estimate weights, and calculate all quotations for outside customers
• Obtain vendors for outside work, i.e., pattern shops, machine shops, bar stock and plate suppliers, etc.
• Take telephone orders and requests for quotations
• Direct all phases of customer service: updating and revising of quotes/prices on repeat orders; expedite outside orders, especially those for pattern work and outside machining and make sure quality is being met on outside customer orders; acquire customer requirements and assist where necessary in working on all quality problems
• Write quotations and maintain records of follow up on quotations and new customer contacts
• Data entry of customer accounts/set-up.
• Assist with material and labor costing of Products
• Monitor the conformance of subordinates to existing quality, safety, time reporting and other work rule procedures; provide instructions and counseling as necessary
• Develop personal skills as well as foundry knowledge and basic business skills
• Maintain open communication throughout the company
• Provide support to Administration
• Perform any and all other job related tasks as assigned
