General Job Description:

Process applications for new business personal lines policies. Maintian and service existing accounts.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handles the sales and service for the assigned book of business with accuracy.
• Handles all personal lines customer communication – pro-active (actively looking for ways to help people) and re-active (adjusting actions in relation to others’ actions).
• Performs functions on the agency management system (EPIC) proficiently and assists others as needed.
• Conducts annual reviews of personal accounts.
• Prepares new and renewal accounts for marketing, placement, and delivery to customer.
• Establishes themselves as a Trusted Advisor to the customers and others as needed.
• Responsible for sales presentations and/or claim reviews.
• Responsible for development and enhancements of customer service programs and recommends coverages.
• Grow assigned book of business through sales from referrals and cross-selling.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as required.

Qualification for the Job:

• Idaho Licensed Resident Producer - Property and Casualty Designation ( Required 90 days of hire)
• Continual Education will be required as mandated by Department of Insurance (Once licensed)
• Computer proficiency needed in Microsoft Office (outlook, word, excel)
• High level of communication and interpersonal skills
• Competent in interpersonal skills and detailed oriented
• Aptitude for Sales/Demonstrates a strong sales skill set
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Work is performed in an office environment.
