CaringPeople Home Health is seeking a Business Development professional to join our team of Home Care Sales Consultants. Caring People is a privately held licensed healthcare agency that has been in business for over 20 years with offices throughout New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts, and Texas.

THIS POSITION IS FOR: Northern Fairfield & Itchfield County in Connecticut!

This is an OUTSIDE sales position.

Responsibilities

• Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
• Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
• Arrange business meetings with prospective clients/accounts
• Promote the company’s services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
• Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
• Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
• Build long-term relationships with new and existing clients/accounts

Skills

• Proven working experience in business development, sales or a relevant role
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in a sales position for either a healthcare company or home healthcare agency
• Proven sales track record
• Experience in customer support is a plus
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
• Proficiency in English
• Market knowledge
• Communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to build rapport
• Must have a positive attitude, a high level of self-motivation and be results driven
• Time management and planning skills
• BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field
