Team Leader, Multiple Variants
Reports to: Assistant Store Manager, Multiple Variants
Job Description:
Maximizes company sales growth and profitability by leading and developing associates to deliver an elevated customer experience, best in class KPI performance and execution of brand and company initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities:
● Lead and manage a designated team's workload in partnership with the Assistant Store Manager and prioritize daily workload based on business needs.
● Observe, recognize and coach associates on individual performance to drive business goals and brand standards and maintain a strong visible leadership presence in the store.
● Use reporting (Daily, Weekly and Monthly Quarterly, YTD) to understand and prioritize initiatives and workload to maximize sales, profitability, customer and team experience.
● Act as Manager on Duty (MOD), when assigned, by working on the sales floor to observe, coach and recognize store associates for behaviors that will drive sales results and elevate the customer experience.
● Communicate regularly with the Assistant Store Manager to review business results, execution of plans/strategies, customer feedback and associate performance.
● Provide specific, timely feedback about performance directly to associates and share observations with the Assistant Store Manager.
● In coordination with the Assistant Store Manager, support all aspects of associate performance and development for designated associates, encouraging professional growth in all areas.
● Plan and lead the execution of store events in an assigned functional area. Ensure functional team alignment and participation.
● Possess a complete understanding and awareness of applicable company systems, policies and procedures including loss prevention, security and safety guidelines as outlined in the Crate and
Barrel/CB2 Associate Guide.
● Ensure all customers are provided excellent customer service by modeling brand standard behaviors and setting expectations with associates. Communicate positively and with enthusiasm internally and externally in all regards to the Brand’s initiatives, priorities and goals.

● Comfort with, and ability to, spend significant time on the sales floor or in back of house, interacting with customers and associates, maintaining regular store operations and coaching associates
● Ability to work a full time flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed
● Hourly team members and several leaders within multiple departments will rely on you in the store for everyday operations and ongoing efforts like associate development and performance management
Experience Required:
● 1+ years customer service or retail experience
● 2+ years customer service or retail leadership experience preferred
● High school diploma/GED or equivalent
● Experience with Microsoft Office, Google applications, computer systems and tablet devices
Physical and Visual Activities **
On a daily basis, must be able to constantly have visual acuity near and far, stand, operate computers/POS/office equipment, move around the facility and communicate. Ability to frequently handle paperwork and/or remain stationary. May occasionally lift, carry, reach, kneel, crawl, push/pull, climb, balance, bend, crouch, twist or have foot controls for operating equipment.
Physical Demands **
Movement of product, supplies and/or boxes to and from all levels of the store and stockroom. Ability to move and/or lift up to 65 lbs to a height of 3-4 feet; heavier product with team assist. Furniture: Ability to move up to 300 lbs with appropriate equipment.
Environmental/Atmospheric Conditions **
Hot/cold temperature changes, concrete floors, odors, dust and mechanical/electrical/chemical hazards possible
