Position: Account Representative

Job Description:

Amendola Stone & Tile Inc, top leader in fabrication and installation, is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as an Account Representative. The position will be based out of our Moonachie, NJ branch and will report to the Branch Manager. The position will be responsible for providing support to our customers by answering questions, providing product information, and assisting with product orders. This position will require an individual to travel to various locations within the region on a regular basis. Travel may be required up to 25% of the time.

Requirements:

• Be the main point of contact of assigned customers
• Negotiate contracts and handle paperwork
• Follow up regularly after closing a sale to ensure client satisfaction
• Respond promptly to customer queries and complaints to find solutions and defuse tension
• Pass on issues to account managers when needed
• Present new or additional products and services to existing customers
• Approach prospective clients through cold-calling, email etc. to meet sales targets
• Send reports on sales activity, accounts status and possible issues
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking ability
• Assertiveness and confidence
• Goal-driven with ability to work under pressure
• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Proficiency in computer programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Blue Beam, Autocad, etc.)
• Experience in the manufacture or distribution of products is a plus but not required
• Willingness to travel as needed (25%)

Duties may vary depending on customer needs at the time

Travel may be required up to 25% of the time. Duties include but are not limited to: answering questions, providing product information, and assisting with product orders. Duties may also require travel out of state or region.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $41,098.70 - $49,495.20 per year
