Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Events and Marketing Representative to join our growing team. As an Events and Marketing Representative, you will play a pivotal role in promoting and marketing our community solar program at various events such as home shows, farmers markets, trade shows. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the clean energy movement while advancing your career in events and marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and manage booths at home shows, farmers markets, trade shows to engage with potential customers and promote our community solar program.
- Act as a brand ambassador, effectively communicating the benefits of community solar to event attendees and generating interest in our program.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute event strategies, including creative activations, giveaways, and promotional materials.
- Collect and maintain customer information for follow-up and lead generation purposes.
- -Attend regular team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance sales and marketing skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in events and marketing, with experience in engaging customers and driving sales at home shows, farmers markets, trade shows, or similar events.
- Self-motivated and driven mindset with a passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly and persuasively articulate the benefits of community solar to potential customers.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with potential customers in a face-to-face setting.
- Knowledge of solar energy and community solar is a plus, but not required (training will be provided).
- Ability to work independently, manage your own schedule effectively, and prioritize tasks.
