INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Responsibilities:
- Support current and potential customers by answering questions.
- Quote and sell new and replacement blades. Ability to pull drawings and tech information to quote properly. Review past orders to compare current order for quality control. Follows up on all customer quotes as needed or otherwise weekly using the CRM system and other follow-up tools.
- Maintain regular contact with key customers to identify and act upon opportunities for blade sales.
- Maintain customer records by updating account information. Enter customer orders into XA, customer info into Salesforce and other systems.
- Resolve product or service problems through root cause analysis and explain the results to customers in an empathic and data-oriented manner
- Follow procedures to process customer returns, providing other departments with clear instructions
- Work with R/D, Marketing and Engineering on configuration changes to existing customers.
- Work with planning to do forecasting and lot size adjustments based on customer inputs and experience.
- Continuing to grow skill sets and flourish in a fast paced manufacturing environment
Qualifications and Job Requirements:
- Very proficient in Microsoft Office products. Outlook, Word, Excel
- ERP and MRP experience is a plus
- 5 years of sales experience managing own accounts and showing growth using a sales process, preferably in an industrial manufacturing or industrial distribution company.
- 5 years of customer care experience, managing a CRM, and handling administration of accounts (credits, orders, quotes)
- Excellent bedside manner when talking to customers/colleagues
- Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of machines and cutting
- Ability to independently solve problems in a thorough and detail-oriented manner
- Interpersonal Skills/Interactions: Ability to work well as part of a team. Ability to diplomatically deal with Manufacturing and other groups to best serve the needs of our customers.
- Ability to time manage and prioritize multiple competing tasks and activities
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to change directions frequently, as the days may bring multiple fires that all need attention.
- High sense of urgency, and low tolerance for mediocracy.

- Ability to understand and calculate sales price, margin, price increases.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Experience:
- Industrial sales ( inside, outside or combination): 5 year (Preferred)
- customer support: 5 years (Preferred)
- Working in manufacturing environment, or with manufacturing customers: 4 years (Preferred)
- Experiences with CRM,MRP, ERP and Excel. Medium to high aptitude.
