Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Supervisor to join our esteemed IRA Trust Company. As the Sales Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and guiding a team of sales representatives who play a critical role in persuading and convincing potential clients to choose our company as the custodian for their Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs). Your expertise in sales strategies and client engagement will be instrumental in driving the growth and success of our company's IRA custodian services. Reports to Director of Operations
Responsibilities & Duties
- Supervise and support a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations to ensure individual and team success
- Foster a positive and motivating work environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and professional growth among the sales team
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve or exceed targets for acquiring new IRA custodian clients
- Collaborate with the senior management team to establish sales goals, forecasting, and budgeting for the IRA custodian department
- Lead by example in actively engaging and convincing potential clients to choose our company as their trusted IRA custodian through persuasive and consultative selling techniques
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and product enhancements related to IRAs and other retirement planning solutions
- Train and educate the sales team on the intricacies of IRA services, investment options, and the benefits of selecting our company as the preferred custodian
- Regularly analyze sales data, conversion rates, and other performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Oversee timekeeping and attendance of department
- Implement corrective actions and performance improvement plans when necessary in conjunction with management & HR
- Other tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications & Requirements
- High School Graduate or Equivalent
- 1+ Years of Leadership Experience
- Banking and IRA Experience Preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Proven leadership success through effective training and coaching
- Strong organizational skills
- Critical problem-solving abilities
- Positive and productive interpersonal philosophy
