Full description of the position
National Retail Solutions (“NRS”), a division of IDT Corporation, is looking to add enthusiastic, passionate, and energetic salespeople to our team. NRS helps its customers' small businesses reach the next level by providing them with the ability to monitor and grow their businesses more effectively. In this role, the MSS will be responsible for outside, direct sales of the NRS product and service portfolio in an assigned geographic territory. These products and services include point of sale systems (POS), credit card processing, cash advance, and our future products too. Our new teammate will develop a plan to increase the reach of NRS products and services in his/her territory by prospecting potential customers, securing orders, and ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction.
About the opportunity:
- Earn a competitive salary and the ability to earn commissions from direct sales of our POS systems, credit card processing, cash advance, loyalty programs, and our full portfolio of retail products.
- Drive the completion of the application process, follow-ups, and close deals.
- Help our customers understand how to use our services effectively.
- Light tech support on our customers' equipment.
- Set up and follow up on installation and appointment schedules.
- Interact with multiple levels of support including Operations/Sales, Finance, and tech support.
What we would like to see:
- Motivated individual with outside sales experience and it would be a plus to have 1-2 years of experience in selling merchant services.
- Prior experience with POS sales and implementation is a plus, but not required.
- Must be prepared to travel and go door-to-door visiting customers.
- Basic computer skills – comfortable using tablet and Bluetooth equipment and basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM.
- Ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels, and excel in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
- Proven ability to multitask while maintaining sharp attention to detail.

- Have a valid driver's license and a car (NRS offers a mileage reimbursement program).
- Must be authorized to work for all US employers.
