Job Summary
- Not a People Leader role. This is an Individual Contributor opportunity. The Senior Director Sales role is a Service Provider industry expert located in an appropriate location within the North American region. Individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining key executive relationships with our partners to develop and implement sales strategies for Comcast’s syndication portfolio of home services including X1, Flex, xFi, xHome, and Business Services. This is a “hunter” role that will be working to close very large and sophisticated deals, requiring deep experience, sophistication, eye for business, and rugged persistence to be successful. Grow Comcast’s existing businesses as well as driving growth with insertion of new solutions and services. Possess an impressive rolodex of contacts within the industry and will bring extensive existing relationships and an excellent reputation to the position. This role will serve to negotiate terms and conditions of business agreements and review implementation plans. Looked upon for leadership and direction across the Company’s diverse and sophisticated functions and partners. The individual will work with Product and Development organizations to assist in the development of the organization’s business strategies. Exhibits strong leadership skills, typically influencing and motivating across multiple teams of professionals.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Develops and coordinates an annual operating budget for Product Sales.
- Assists in the development of long-term sales strategies and marketing plans. Identifies tools to assist with sales activities and action steps to follow in the sales campaign.
- Works closely with training teams for deployment of successful training curriculum and ensures access to all resources and tools needed to develop a skilled and knowledgeable staff.
- Works with leadership throughout the organization to coordinate marketing and sales efforts.
- Implements advertising and promotional activities.
- Is responsible for the recruitment, training and leadership in multiple teams of Product Sales personnel. Develops and assists in coordinating all logistical aspects of the sales program.
- Deploys incentives and other programs as vital to achieve critical landmarks to success.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Variable schedule as necessary.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education
Bachelor's Degree
