Our client, a leading industrial wholesaler and manufacturer in the lifting market, is looking for its next sales professional to join the team! With its headquarters in Chicago, IL, and part of a global group, our client is a leader in its field. We are looking for a Territory Sales Manager to join our client’s quickly growing organization. As a Territory Sales Manager, you are responsible for developing territory sales accounts to increase market share, as well as establishing/maintaining account relationships. This Role is for You if:
- You’re a sales pro that’s always looking for new business – you’ll initiate sales calls and contact with customers, as well as answer customer inquiries and finalizing quotations.
- You always keep the customer front-and-center – you’ll build exceptional relationships, along with our Customer Service team, in order to grow our brand.
- You are a detail-oriented team player – you’ll forward and route special sales orders with an emphasis on developing, maintaining, and recording territory sales activity.
- You understand the importance of exceptional marketing – you’ll formulate territory marketing plans for establishing new accounts and retention of existing accounts.
- You always look at what’s next – you’ll analyze sales volume results for account adjustments and improvements.
- You are passionate about innovation – you’ll be the face of the company for the introduction of new products or new product applications.
- You are a relationship builder that’s hungry for new business opportunities – you’ll attend trade shows and conferences to generate new customer contacts and potential increased sales activity with existing customers.
- You reside in Southeast Metropolitan Area
You will thrive in this role if:
- You have a bachelor’s degree in a related field. But no worries if you don’t have a degree – we will consider related on-the-job experience in lieu of a degree.
- You have 5+ years of experience in markets such as: lifting equipment, crane rental, elevators, or manufacturing.
- You have at least 2 years of sales/marketing experience.
- You are a results-oriented driver – you understand the problem, come up with potential solutions, and make the best possible decision to move the business forward.
- You are comfortable with travel 50% of the time within assigned territory.
